Q: Hi Nurse Doza, I just want to tell you what a difference your help has made! I have been looking for ways to help lower my A1c, and I saw your video about fasting! I was fascinated by ketosis and autophagy (cuz science), so I thought I’d try a 24-hour fast to see if I could do it. Autophagy kicked in, and I found that I wasn’t hungry at all, so I easily fasted for 48 hours. BONUS: no sugar withdrawals, so I easily segued into zero refined sugar, zero processed food, zero caffeine. Today is one month, three 48-hour water fasts, and 18/6 intermittent fasting, eating only two meals in my food window. I’m down twenty pounds, no longer prediabetic, rarely hungry, and sleeping better. I highly recommend fasting to everyone now, as being food sick is really a thing that we shouldn’t be! Thank you for all that you do!
A: Nurse Doza: This is incredible! I am so thankful to be part of your health journey. And thank you for sharing your story can and will inspire other readers here to take their health into their own hands. You are so powerful, you have no idea what you can accomplish.
Having a healthy metabolism should be the goal of everyone because a healthy metabolism means:
More energy
Better weight
Deeper sleep
Better hormones
Better appetite
Longer quality of life
I am sure you have experienced some of this already with your fasting and weight loss. Keep going. You can feel even better! And for those who don’t know what it’s like to feel better, just know, you can feel better too! Put yourself first! You are no good to anyone else if you are no good to yourself first.
How to put yourself first (to have a better metabolism & quality of life):
Develop a morning routine (books, grounding, sunlight, yoga, breathwork, journaling, music, gardening, etc.)
Drink more water
Take any of the following supplements (for optimal metabolism):
Our MITOCHONDRIAC (1-2x/am on empty stomach) for mitochondrial support
Our BLISS (1x/day) for neurotransmitter support
Our BOOST (1x/am) Multivitamin with Glutathione and Green Tea Caffeine
Our ZEN (1-2x/am and/or pm) for adrenal/stress/energy support
Our MEGA Os (1-2x/am) High-quality Omega-3 DHA, which the brain is made of and needs.
Our LIVER BOOST (1-4x/day) is THE multivitamin for your liver & gallbladder. Also helps with hormone support
Our THE D (1x/am) 5000 units of Vitamin D3 with Vitamin K2. Vitamin D deficiency is one of the most common issues in the world. Vitamin D is your immune system
NAD+ injections - weekly at home. Helps with energy, focus, repair, and longevity. Plus, you can feel the energy right after each injection! *Take our BLISS before each injection for a better experience
Fast: 24hr-36hrs
Healthy fat before & after fast
Drink lots of water during
Can drink black coffee or green tea (the idea is not to stimulate digestion)
Can take supplements at the beginning of the fast
Can work out during fast
It's ok to feel hungry and tired, but it’s not ok to not be able to function. Break your fast if this happens.
Move: daily, at least 30 mins, preferably outside.
Recovery in the afternoon:
Legs on the wall (yoga pose) 5-20 mins
Belly breathwork
Walking outside
Binaural beats
Stop working at a certain hour
Spend afternoons being creative
Time with friends & family
Stop looking at screens around 9 pm
Look at the stars before bed
Go to bed early
Repeat

Q: Hey, Nurse Doza. Just wanted to say my wife introduced me to your videos recently & I'm going to take your advice. I’m struggling with stubborn belly fat, and from all I've read & watched recently, your theories make the most sense. I'll weigh in & record my progress. Thank you!
A: Nurse Doza: This is amazing! I am always so thrilled to hear something like this! This is what behavior change looks like. It starts with an intention. The idea that you want to change for whatever reason. I know changing one's lifestyle can be hard, so the fact that it was something I said that made you change your mind is one of the most humbling achievements I can have in my profession. I know you, just like the other readers, will be successful. Why? Because you told me you would, and you have a wonderful community that supports you and your goals. Be thankful, good luck, and I am excited to hear about your updates and progress! You can do this!
To help you get started on your weight loss journey, here are some other tips:
Fasting 18hr-36 hrs
Stop eating after 9 pm
Movement (Weight resistance is ideal, walking even helps with blood sugar)
Cut back on processed foods like bread, rice, and pasta
Take Berberine for blood sugar and appetite management

Q: Hi Nurse Doza! I am new to your page, and I heard in one of your TikTok Lives that the liver is the issue after gallbladder removal. I had my gallbladder removed three years ago. Every time I eat, I get bloated. I started your liver detox course, and it has helped so much! I am making better decisions, and I definitely have less bloating, but I still have a hard time losing weight. Is there anything else I need to be doing? Thank you for all your help!
A: Nurse Doza: I am so proud that you completed the Liver Detox course we offer online. It has helped thousands of people just like you, and I am still excited to hear how our program helps so many people. My advice would be to keep working on your liver, but now include working on your digestive tract as well. This starts with gut support, which includes a lifestyle that focuses on repair as gut issues occur before liver & gallbladder issues. When there is less damage and inflammation in the gut, there will be less inflammation in the body. Where do we hold onto inflammation? Our fat cells. The ones around our belly and midsection. When we reduce inflammation in the gut (and liver), our body can then get rid or “poop” out toxins that do not belong in our body. This can then lead to a reduction in inflamed fat cells around your belly.
There is a process to this, which, if done correctly, can repair and regenerate the digestive tract to help you with optimal weight loss.
Here is how to support and repair your gut, liver, and gallbladder (even if you don't have one):
Change your diet
Cut out bread, rice, pasta, corn
Eat more healthy starches like sweet potatoes, avocados, apples, seaweed, flaxseeds, and plantains
Eat more probiotic foods like sauerkraut, beets, green olives, and kimchi
Eat healthy fat and protein (salmon, eggs, turkey, chicken)
Eat when hungry (if you can't tell…watch this)
Repair the gut
1-4 scoops of our GUT glutamine powder with water on an empty stomach first thing in the morning.
Detox the liver
Take 1-4 of our LIVER BOOST capsules
Eat more broccoli, cauliflower, turmeric, garlic, onions, avocados, healthy omega-3 fats like salmon, eggs, and sardines (yep, they are high in protein too!)
Manage your blood sugar better
Eat when actually hungry
Don't eat past 9 pm
No carbs for breakfast
Take our BERBERINE (1-2x in am and/or pm) for blood sugar and appetite support. It also helps the sugar that is digested in the gut (our probiotics do this!)
Continue as long as needed, including for maintenance care
