Before we begin
If better sleep is something you’ve been struggling with, I want to personally invite you to join me inside the School of Doza starting this Tuesday.
For the next six weeks, I’ll be teaching a live course on how to:
fall asleep faster
get deeper, more restorative sleep
wake up energized
build a sustainable sleep routine that actually sticks
Classes are Tuesdays at 5:30 PM CST, followed by a live Q&A where you can ask your questions directly.
If you’re ready to experience the best sleep of your life, I’d love to see you there.
Now let’s get into this week’s questions.
Q: Hi Nurse Doza! I love all your videos about the liver! I have a question for you, and it's regarding my gallbladder. I don't have one, and I want to know what I should be taking that can help! I have been miserable ever since my surgery! Thank you for your help!
A: Nurse Doza: Whenever there are gallbladder issues, there are liver issues too that need to be addressed. Taking a liver detox supplement, along with the right diet and lifestyle, can help almost anyone who has had or is still experiencing gallbladder problems.
I would take our LIVER BOOST supplement by mswnutrition.com. This is the same supplement that I have recommended over the last 8 years and it has worked! This is what I have seen LIVER BOOST help with:
Inflammation
Digestion
Hormones (yes, the liver & LIVER BOOST can help regulate hormones including Estrogen)
Cholesterol (yes we still need fat in our diet but it MUST come from healthy fat like the ones found in the Mediterranean diet)
Blood sugar (the liver makes and stores glucose)
Pain
Elevated liver enzymes (AST, ALT, GGT, hsCRP, Homocysteine)
Weight loss (a liver detox is needed with struggling weight loss)
Start with 1-3x LIVER BOOST a day for the next 6-12 months (btw, we have a HUGE sale on LIVER BOOST right now!). Follow the Mediterranean diet, then start working on your gut by adding our GUT powder (1-2 scoops with water on an empty stomach). And once you are ready for better appetite control, add our BERBERINE PLUS which acts like a natural GLP-1. The combo of our LIVER BOOST, GUT & BERBERINE PLUS is our GOODPOOPS.org supplement protocol for anyone who has issues with their gallbladder, liver, and/or gut.

Q: Hello Nurse Doza! My family and I love your videos! In one of them, you mentioned something called glycine for joint pain. I have been dealing with it for years now, and I have been trying to lose weight, but I’ve also been taking collagen. What are your thoughts, and is glycine better? Thank you for all your education and help!
A: Nurse Doza: Glycine is great for joint support. It can provide direct nourishment to cells as well as act as a precursor to antioxidant production like Glutathione. Glutathione reduces inflammation in the cells from damage caused by life and stress.
The main issue in joint pain is inflammation. Inflammation of the joints, the joint fluid, the cartilage, the ligaments, the tendons, etc. Glycine is a better option than collagen because it promotes anti-inflammatory effects and should be part of a natural approach to pain management.
Consider our BLISS sublingual mood booster that has Trimethylglycine and SAMe. Trimethylglycine is a very special version of glycine that is methylated (think MTHFR support!), and it also has methionine (the “M” in SAMe), which has also been shown to provide cartilage support.
In addition to the BLISS, for joint support, I would also consider a high-quality Fish Oil and a Turmeric supplement (ours is in our LIVER BOOST) because both have been shown to be just as effective as ibuprofen.
For optimal joint support, consider:
following an anti-inflammatory diet like the Mediterranean diet,
working on a great sleep routine (we are about to start teaching one in our online school, please join here!),
start core strength training where muscle strength is emphasized (Yoga, Pilates, or simple body weight exercises would be ideal).
Go to the chiropractor more. Chiropractic is great for chronic pain

Support Glutathione Levels Directly
Nurse Doza mentioned glutathione, the liver’s primary antioxidant that helps the body reduce inflammation and repair cells after stress, toxins, or surgery.
If you want to support glutathione levels directly, we’ve partnered with Shed to offer their glutathione injections, which many of our readers use for liver health, energy, and recovery.

Q: Nurse Doza, I want your thoughts on longevity. I see a lot of devices and gadgets online that look and say the right things but I’m not sure where to start. I was thinking about a sauna and a red light, but what should I have at home that really works? I don't want to slow down and I want sensible products that I won't have to keep buying. Thanks, I appreciate your knowledge and the way you teach.
A: Nurse Doza: Thank you. I love this conversation as I have set up my clinic to support longevity and optimal human function. I think you should approach your body as a human machine that needs a constant supply of energy from several sources found in nature in order to produce, function and thrive.
This is what you need to promote longevity:
Sunlight
Water
Sleep
Detoxification
Nutrition
Movement
Mindset
Community
What at home provides these?
Sunlight = Redlight panels. This is the one we have at home and use every day! It has both redlight (great for energy), and blue light (great for skin, acne, and oily skin). Use code nursedoza
Water = Filtered
Sleep = Binaural beats before bed. This is the Braintap app, headphones with a visor that has blinking lights that together provide guided meditation & music sessions that calm your nervous system (my kids use it everyday night before bed to help them calm down and fall asleep. They ask for it because they love it!). And the best part….15 minutes of Braintap is like getting 2 hours of sleep. Use code nursedoza for your own set.
Detoxification = LIVER BOOST (3-4x/daily for 1-3 months). A dry sauna(170-180 degrees Fahrenheit is ideal)
Nutrition = Fasting & The Mediterranean Diet. (This is our podcast on how to fast)
Movement = Vibration plate (The whole family will use it!)
Mindset = Set up your own zen / recovery section of your home. (We have our red light panel in front of our vibration plate near the living room to make sure we use it when we walk by it everyday.)
Community = Make the most of your local hike and bike trail. Decorate your backyard/patio/space with plants & pictures of your happy places like the mountains, the beach or your favorite past vacations. Set up a space to play music, draw, create, relax, meditate, and just be present. Support and buy local. Health doesn’t come from one pill or one device.
It comes from consistent daily inputs — good sleep, good food, movement, sunlight, and a supportive community.
If sleep is an area where you know you could improve, I invite you to join us in the 6-week sleep course inside the School of Doza.
We’ll build a routine together that helps you fall asleep faster, sleep deeper, and wake up feeling refreshed.
Sometimes the most powerful changes start with something as simple as better sleep.
I hope to see you in class.
To your health,
Nurse Doza
